Have you ever dived in the Red Sea?
It is not red. It is crystal clear, you can see the corals and the white coral sand on the bottom of the sea at 20 m depth..
If you watch it on the shore it is insanely blue. All shades of blue. And a little green. They say that because of the pure water the ocean reflects the blue sky.
